Mr Adeniyi. The incident would not have happened if the travellers respected military directive, which bans plying of the road from Benishek, a local government headquarters to Maiduguri, after 5p.m.

“It was reported and it was confirmed that the Boko Haram came on motorcycles to carry out the attack,” he said.

  1. If the time is known when they lunched their attack what stops them from having a way of getting them. In other countries you can move at any time of the day but in Nigeria, it’s not so because of the low level of security. Anything can happen on the road while travelling so you don’t expect the road to be totally empty. If the road is empty, the boko haram will also devise other means of getting hold on people. Please the government should do something about the insecurity challenges in the country.
